The Three of Wands carries a feeling of anticipation. It follows the decisions made in the Two of Wands, allowing them room to expand into something beyond the planning stage.

In my hand illustrated, surrealist version, a chair has a face and a paper aeroplane rests on the floor. The familiar becomes strange, with a deceptively ordinary room framed by a riot of colourful zigzags. There’s a warning tucked into the scene: do not wait so long that you become part of the furniture in your own waiting room.

One thing’s for certain with the Three of Wands: it is time to broaden your horizons and think outside of the box.

Wear this tarot altar cloth as a headscarf or neckerchief, wrap your deck between readings, or lay it out for your cards. A little surrealist art to take with you, wherever your horizons lead.

Sizing guide

Medium (54 × 54 cm): A versatile tarot reading cloth. Wear it as a headscarf or neckerchief, wrap your deck in it, or lay it out for a reading.

Large (64 × 64 cm): More room for larger tarot spreads, your deck and other reading essentials. Also works as an altar cloth for bigger spaces.
