There’s bunting, cake and wine. There’s also a knife through the party hat. Not quite the celebration anyone had in mind.

My hand illustrated Five of Swords brings a slightly uncomfortable guest to the table, a solitary clown surrounded by the ingredients of a good time. A bright zigzag border frames the scene, making the contrast all the stranger. Cheerful at first glance, less straightforward the longer you look.

Wear it as a headscarf or neckerchief, wrap your tarot deck between readings, or spread it out for your cards. A little colour, a little dark humour, and something to keep looking at.

Sizing guide

Medium (54 × 54 cm): A versatile tarot reading cloth. Wear it as a headscarf or neckerchief, wrap your deck in it, or lay it out for a reading.

Large (64 × 64 cm): More room for larger tarot spreads, your deck and other reading essentials. Also works as an altar cloth for bigger spaces.
